The filing period for City Council was then extended through Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 4:00 PM as stated below:
ELECTIONS CODE § 10225
“If an eligible incumbent fails to file candidate filing documents … there will be a 5-calendar-day extension during which any candidate, other than the incumbent, may file.”
